A beautiful airline poster advertising the traditional China with a few major highlights.
The poster features some of the greatest gems from China including the Great Wall, The Terracotta Army, a Junk (traditional Chinese ship) and a piece of bamboo. In the background is a few glimpse of the Chinese nature including a steep mountain range.
A great travel poster made using watercolors which could be have been made by the legendary Otto Nielsen who created several iconic posters for SAS from 1950-70. What is particularly interesting about this poster is the time period the poster was made in. In the early 1990s China's economic reforms still had little effect on the country's economy and if the poster was made today I imagine that the artist would display the skyline of Shanghai or something similar which displays the huge transformation China has endured.
