This great poster made by Bjørn Wiinblad displays what I believe to be a boy sitting under a tree with two birds.

By looking at the poster it seems to be some sort of a sketch or layout for one of Wiinblad's many tapestries.

Many of Wiinblad's favorite images shows people in the the nature - often with animals of some kind. I am confident that this poster will bring much happiness to any place it might hang - I would differently put this piece on my wall if I had any space left.

The craft of Wiinblad is often colorful, lush and full of humor. He was inspired by the sumptuous oriental style far from the Nordic stylish line.

The views on his works are to this day very divided, but interest in his finer things are unrelenting - especially abroad (particularly the U.S., Japan, Germany and Norway). Bjørn Wiinblad's contemporaries were not exactly inclined to acknowledge his way to work, so his position as an artist has been a bit special.

Globally, Bjørn Wiinblad is one of the very best selling Danish artists. He is represented at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
