1950s Printer Advertisement Permild & Rosengreen by Sikker Hansen - Original Vintage Poster

Cute little circus pony decorated with blue and pink feathers.

The poster advertises the Danish graphic company, Permild & Rosengreen.

The company was founded in 1947 by Verner Permild and Bjørn Rosengreen. Since its establishment, the company has produced lithographs, art posters, art books, art catalogues, art calendars, etc.

This great poster was designed by the legendary Danish poster artist Aage Sikker Hansen (1897-1955). Sikker Hansen created some of the most iconic posters in Danish poster history like the Cirkel Coffee Posters. His posters where often portraits or people often using only pencil and charcoal which makes his images quite detail rich with many textures and shades. This poster is definitely true to his legacy.

This original lithography was designed in 1953 and is in remarkable good condition as it was never used.
