The poster displays The Bargate which is medieval gatehouse located in central Southampton, England. The gatehouse was constructed in Norman times around 1180 as part of the Southampton town walls system and was at that time the main gateway to the city.
This is a great photographic British travel poster with a image captured in a misty setting which really ads to the medieval touch of this historic tourist advertisement.
