One great Danish Newspaper displaying the whole family (and a cat) reading the latest news the Aarhus Stiftstidende.
The poster was made some time during the German occupation of Denmark (1940-45). I believe it was the intention was to signal a Danish newspaper (as an opposition to foreign propaganda) as channel of enlightenment and something true to rely on in the dark times of World War II. Also notice the telegraph line which connects the family with the outer world. Also notice how the blue and white background is changing. Much can be linterpred from this poster.
The Danish text in the top says: "A good newspaper everyday" and below is the name of the Danish newspaper Aarhus Stiftstidende which still exists today.
This poster was created by the Danish illustrator Arne Ungermann (1902-1981) who is one of the greatest poster artists from Denmark. Ungermann made several iconic posters many of which is very valuable today.

Very Good Condition - minor signs of handling, a few small tears on the edges and a bit of transparent tape in the corners - please see pictures. I believe most the imperfections would be easy to fix by a professional otherwise a frame will cover some of its imperfections.
